About the Counselor

Welcome to the Counselor’s Corner of TLCA! I have been in education since 2013. I taught high school math for five years before becoming the TLCA counselor in 2018. I graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a Bachelor of Behavioral Science in Mathematics, then I graduated from Lamar University with a Masters in school counseling. I loved teaching math. I enjoy my many counseling duties even more.

In my job, I have the privilege of working with our middle school and high school students. My counselor responsiblities cover a varity of things such as: 504 coordinator, STAAR testing coordinator, amongst my counseling I do for students. I also coorrdinate middle schoool and high school schedules for students.
