Red Ribbon Week | TLCA Abilene

October is full of activities stressing respect for yourself and the law by staying drug-free. We celebrate our stand against drugs school-wide by celebrating Red Ribbon Week each year. This school year, we will observe Red Ribbon Week October 26nd – October 30th.

Our school theme will be “Be Happy. Be Brave. Be Drug free”. Students are encouraged to dress up according to the day’s theme. Teachers and staff are encouraged to dress up as well.

The Red Ribbon Week celebration will go as follows:

  • Monday, October 26: Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to show that we “Rally in Red Against Drugs” by wearing RED.
  • Tuesday, October 27: Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to be “Don’t Huff, Don’t Puff, Stay Away from the Stuff” by dressing like an old person.
  • Wednesday, October 28: Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to hear “It Doesn’t Take Drugs to be CrAzY,” by having CrAzY hAiR.
